H. Macy Whitehead

H. Macy Whitehead died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at his home in Bath, just two days after his 88th birthday. He had been caring for his dear wife, Edie, enjoying his dog, Becky, and pursuing his love of fiber arts and music. Macy was a former pastor at the United Congregational Church in Eagle Butte.

A celebration of Macy White­head’s life, in the manner of Friends, was held Friday, May 25, at the Phippsburg Center Con­gregational Church UCC, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A reception followed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Macy White­head’s honor to The American Friends Service Committee, AFSC Development, 1501 Cherry St., Philadelphia, Pa., 19102.
