Meet the candidates vying for the 20-1 School Board Seats


Holly A. Annis
Hometown: I was born and raised in Eagle Butte. I have lived in Grand Forks for the last 15 years and am glad to be back.
Occupation: I am an attorney for the CRST.
Education: I have undergraduate degrees in Communications as well as Indian Studies.
Reason for running: “This is my school, my community, and my hometown, and I want to be a part of making things better.”Annis is an enrolled member of the CRST.



Germaine Cudmore
Hometown: I grew up right here in Eagle Butte.
Occupation: I have worked for the BIA for two years in the Real Estate office. Prior to that I worked for the CRST Telephone Authority in the Sales and Service division for five years.
Education: I am a proud graduate of the class of 2001 at C-EB.
Reason for running: “I want to be more of a part of the community. I hope to keep up the traditions. I think our school is great and our close-knit community makes things even better.”
Cudmore is an enrolled member of the CRST.


Wayne Ducheneaux
Hometown: I’ve lived here almost all my life.
Occupation: Administrative Officer for the CRST.
Education: I’ve spent 12-years in the C-EB school system. I went to college at the University of Minnesota at Morris, but was called home to the ranch.
Reason for running: “I’ve had community interest in my running for school board.”
Ducheneaux is an enrolled member of the CRST.
