Down they go!

A little piece of Eagle Butte history is being torn down this week. The demolition of the Bagley grain elevator began Tuesday. The south end of Main Street has been home to the elevators for as long as anybody can remember.

The Bagley family built elevators across the midwest. In 1979 the Hunt family purchased the elevator from the Bagley family and finally the Eagle Butte CO-OP bought it in 1990. The CO-OP opened their new facility in 2011. The old elevator has not been used for the past year.
