CRST honors barrel racer

Tatum Ward, the 14-year-old daughter of Tater and Laura Ward, was honored last Thursday, December 6, 2012, by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Council.

Tatum was recognized for bringing home the Junior Barrel Racing Indian National Finals World Championship from Las Vegas. CRST Chairman Kevin Keckler read and presented Ward a Tribal Proclamation, proclaiming Thursday, December 6, 2012, as Tatum Ward Day. Ward is a freshman at Timber Lake High School and member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
