Funeral services for Donald “Pat” Pesicka, age 97, of Dupree will be at 10 AM, MT, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the UCC Church in Dupree. Burial will be in the Dupree Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A prayer service will be at 6:30 PM Tuesday at the church. Donald passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at his residence.

Donald was born to George and Edna (Place) Pesicka on the Pesicka Homestead located North of Dupree.  He was the 2nd oldest of nine children.  He was a farmer/rancher, well driller, Ziebach County maintenance man, boxing coach and a great Papa.

He is survived by his three sons Donnie Charles Pesicka, Faith, SD; Walter Lee (Sharon) Pesicka, Troy MT; David Eugene (Linda) Pesicka, Dupree, SD. (11) Grandkids- Stephonie (Stevie) Clair Jewett, Kimberly Claymore, Donnie Dale (Tammi) Pesicka, David (Lynn) Pesicka, Cody (Donna) Pesicka, Sherry Lou Higdon, Renee’ Sargent,  Heather (Brent) Cuny, Tammi Hunt, Naomi Pesicka, and James Pard Pesicka. (27) Shannon Pearman, Christian (Carrie Rieger) Kersten, Patrick Pesicka, Jordan Rohrich,  Anthony (Sunny Seaman) Pesicka, Ashley Jade Higdon, Ashley McKinzie,  Kassidy Pesicka, Barret Sargent, Kolby Hill, Hannah Rose Higdon, Michael Miller, Hadassah Miller, Kenzie Hill, Tayzia Claymore-Knight, Wyatt Jewett, Jasper Pesicka, Alliya Pesicka, Brooke Griffin, Jayce Pesicka, Canyon Sargent,  Kaya Cuny, Adam Condon-Claymore, Matthew Lemke, Isaiah Pesicka, Jacob Pesicka, Amanda Pesicka, (4) Great-great grandkids-Rylan Pearman, Cane Daynger Luger, Acen LaPlante,  Cashus Kersten and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Father and Mother George and Edna Pesicka, Brothers Philo, Lawrence, Ralph, Richard, Willard, and sisters- Frances Holder, Ruth Pesicka, Barbara Eaton.
