On the ranch, Summer means the smell of alfalfa, freshly cut hay, (and allergies for me), breezy, sunny days, lazy dogs, trips to the pastures to count bulls and see the horses, and of course, I spend lots of days on the back of a horse!

I thought I’d take this moment to share some photos I snapped around the ranch this summer.

There’s Jake the photogenic cowdog, horses, plenty of blue skies, alfalfa, and the always welcome thunderheads that bring much needed moisture this time of the year.

What are your favorite summertime scenes?

Happy Trails!
