Western Sky set to layoff employees

Western Sky Financial, a high interest loan lender based out of Eagle Butte will lay off its employees beginning Tuesday September 3.

Rumors that the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe had shut down Western Sky operations were dispelled by CRST Chairman Kevin Keckler.

“That is absolutely not true,” said Keckler. “The tribe has not taken any action against Western Sky.”
