Youngsters Walk for FASD Awareness


Over 150 walkers turned out  Wednesday, October 16 to raise awareness on FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder), a prevalently high condition that results in alcohol use during pregnancy.

The walk was organzied by the FASD Coalition and made up by various local wellness organizations.

150 Head Start students participated in the walk that started at the Veteran’s tree to the CRST Police Department, to the Department of Social Services and concluded at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
