Primary Election is Tuesday


The South Dakota statewide Primary election is set for next Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Several key seats at the state and national level are up for election this year.

The primary election is held to determine who will advance to the general election in November.

For South Dakota Governor, incumbent Republican Dennis Daugaard is seeking re-election and will be running against Lora Hubbel of Sioux Falls in the Primary.  On the Democratic ticket, Joe Lowe of Rapid City is running against Susan Wismer of Britton, with the winner from each primary squaring off in the November election.
