Kane Moran, 26, of Eagle Butte, entered the Spirit World on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, M.N.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Moran and son, Keziah Moran, of Eagle Butte. Adopted daughter, Joey Lynn Addison, Pierre, SD. Parents, Steven and Tisha Moran of Eagle Butte. Adopted mother: Philomine Moran, of Eagle Butte. Six brothers: Caleb Moran of Sioux Falls, SD; Jeb Moran, Ryan Moran, Dathan “Chepa” Little Wounded, of Eagle Butte; Ian Moran of Sioux City, IA. Shawn Moran of Vermillion, SD. Five sisters: Rhiannon Moran, Robbie Little Wounded and Stevie Neigal of Eagle Butte; Raina Moran of Pierre, SD and Wanda Little Wounded of Albequerque, MN.

A one night wake will begin at 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014, at the H.V. Johnson Cultural Center. A prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, at the Johnson Cultural Center, with Lakota Spiritual Leader, Mr. Arvol Looking Horse, officiating. Burial will follow at the Bear Creek Cemetery, Bear Creek, SD.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rooks & Red Dog Funeral Home of Eagle Butte.
